Social Media Invades Bing Search Results

Bing is providing an instant recommendation from friends and colleagues that will most definitely be beneficial to businesses with strong social media campaigns especially on Facebook. As long as you are logged in to your account on Facebook icons will appear if a friend likes this specific site. Bing's senior vice president says that Facebook integration is intricately tied to shopping" because about 90 percent of consumers seek advice from friends and family before making a purchase decision. What is the lesson that we can take from this? Social media is still proving itself to be more versatile and constantly evolving to fit customer needs. What we are seeing is the evolution of Search Engine Marketing and how we as consumers perceive search results. The bottom line of this is if you are not using social media as part of your integrated marketing plan, you should be.
