When they realized people couldn’t find their products online they called upon Bonsai

customers during the buying cycle. After months of researching the company and their
customers we presented our Master Cultivation Plan to their Board. Bonsai successfully
identified problems with how their customers were searching for products and discovered
terms that people were searching but Compendium wasn’t ranking for. After the re-launch
of their site with the changes implemented, they saw immediate results including

April Lane's Home Cleaning
For over 15 years, April Lane's Home Cleaning's professional cleaners have been
providing housecleaning services for clients in the Greater Seattle and Eastside
communities. With highly competitive keywords like Seattle house cleaning, Seattle
cleaning service, Seattle maid service, and Seattle house cleaning service (roughly
4,300 searches a month combined) April went with Bonsai Media Group for her SEO
work. Being one of the Seattle Mayor's Top Ten Small Businesses of the Year we knew
we would have to be on our game to live up to her expectations. April is first on
the maps and ranks on the first page organically for these terms. Those rankings
have resulted in a 20% increase in revenue since signing with Bonsai and she has

BizX
When the economy took a down-turn, companies started looking for new ways to save
cash. Enter BizXchange. BizX uses the power of organized barter to increase companies
sales, improve their cash flow and expand their market share. During this time the
trade and barter sector showed huge growth and BizXchange turned to Bonsai Media
Group to help spread word. We sat down with BizX and designed a sound strategy to
reach business owners who were searching for new ways to save cash while still expanding
their business. Our Master Cultivation Plan addressed current issues with site structure,
on-page optimization and off-page optimization. After the changes were implemented
BizX saw their rankings increase and they are one of the fastest growing barter
companies in the US. BizXchange is currently expanding into new markets so a solid

Seattle Reverse Mortgage
The Reverse Mortgage industry is highly competitive among lenders. In fact the term
"reverse mortgage" gets roughly 245,000 searches a month nation-wide. Scott Rhode
is a Reverse Mortgage Specialist who came to Bonsai Media Group with an innovative
idea to take his company's existing website and create a geo-microsite targeting
his territory. We acted as the lead on the project which included developing a 7
page website, optimizing content for local search terms and maintaining the integrity
of Financial Freedom as a company on a Specialist's website. After gaining sign-off
from Financial Freedom on the site architecture design and copy it was on to the
development of the site. Our efforts did not go unnoticed as Scott's website now
ranks #1 in the maps and #6 organically for "Seattle reverse mortgage" , #1 organically
for "Tacoma reverse mortgage" as well as #5 organically and #8 in maps for Bellevue
reverse mortgage". We will continue to nurture and grow his rankings until he's

WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
EnvironmenTILE
environmenTILE LLC was badly in need of a brand package. They had their product,
and a niche market but no real branding at all. Enter Bonsai Media Group. After
a few meetings with environmenTILE we got to the drawing board, coming up with sketches
and designs for a new logo. After the logo was developed we used it to brand the
rest of the collateral including business cards and flyers. The branding package
sends a consistent message at every contact point with the customer ensuring the
environmeTILE name is well represented. There were quite a few challenges with the
development of this website. The previous site was unorganized, a bit clunky, had
no flow and information was difficult to find if available at all. We were also
asked to achieve similar movement to their Flash based competitor sites without
the use of Flash (SEO purposes). Bonsai worked with environmenTILE to come up with
a strategy that informs people about the environmentally friendly qualities of Oxygena
tiles. We also organized the information about Oxygena tiles to educate people about
how the technology works. After we had our logo the design of the site really fell
into place. The layout allows for high quality images that highlight the product
and achieve a powerful lasting impression on visitors. A jQuery slider was used
to give movement on the homepage, showcasing the luxurious nature of the product
as well as branding messages. We are very pleased with the solutions for this client
and wish them the best of luck in an ever changing tile market.

YFC Seattle Metro
Bonsai Media Group was approached by Brian Muchmore with Youth For Christ to do
a complete redesign of their website. After talks started we quickly realized that
for YFC to continue their growth and reach kids in the Puget Sound, a better solution
than what was in place was in order. Brian oversees YFC operations in Seattle, The
East Side, Snohomish, Monroe, Stanwood, Everett, Lynnwood, and Mill Creek so a Content
Management System was the most logical choice. The Design problem we were faced
with was to brand the YFC site to appeal to donors while keeping a young, youthful
image. Bonsai also helped YFC understand how to use Social Media outlets like Twitter
and Facebook to reach their youth groups.

Teal Group
When we met with Teal Group Technologies they were an established Bellevue IT Company
with no internet presence. Like plenty of small businesses that know they need to
be on the internet but don't have the time or resources they bought tealgrouptech.com
and had a simple coming soon, splash page. This wasn't going to cut it anymore if
Teal Group was to expand their customer base quickly. IT Companies in the greater
Seattle area are a dime-a-dozen. In order to stand out you need to connect with
people and assert yourself as a helpful professional company. Teal Group came to
Bonsai for an affordable website that would be SEO-ready when they decide to move
forward with an internet marketing plan. We were able to develop a clean, communicative
website for them that gives them a great platform to begin building their brand.

Ramil
When designer Ramil Azucena needed a portfolio site to display his design work,
he turned to Bonsai Media Group. Being a designer, the creative work was handled
by Ramil himself. He worked closely with the Bonsai Development Team to achieve
